Analogue interfaces often need signal conditioning to bring the input into the right range, reduce noise and so on.

 

A set of standard amplifier configurations is shown with manual test inputs. The MCU and LCD display the output of each via a multi-pole switch.

 

The simulator allows the voltages to be monitored accurately at any point, and limitations in the amplifier performance observed. For example, the effect of input offset and CMMR.

 

Ideal output voltage should be:

 

Non-inverting

Vn = V2 * (R3/R4+1)

 

Inverting

Vt = V3 * (-R6/R5)

 

Summing

Vs = 2 * (V4 + V5)

 

Difference

Vd = 2 * (V8 V6)
